The house

The house is made of adobe, wood and stone using the resources of the place, through a modern 50m2 rural loft-type design, the room inspired by the nest, offers warmth and intimacy, the bathroom is made all of adobe and wood to maintain a warm atmosphere even in the middle of winter, the dining room attached to the gallery and the kitchen is a space that seeks connection with the outside, it is integrated into the environment with an unbeatable view of the San Barbara hill and the waterfall that falls from the top of the hill in summer. The space offers all the convenience and comfort to make your stay unique, go out to enjoy the beautiful places that our jungle offers and rest in a place of charm, that is our job and we are happy to be able to receive you.

The town

San Francisco is located at 1,490 meters above sea level, it belongs to "las Yungas" Biosphere Reserve and is the key town to discover the magic that this beautiful Jujuy jungle offers you. With barely 700 inhabitants and its own authentic culture, San Francisco is a town to discover, nestled in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by an exuberant mountain and blessed by places full of charm such as the Jordan River Hot Springs, "La Fuente del Jaguar" and "Calilegua National Park", San Francisco awaits you all year round

The host

My name is Nicolas Groppo, I arrived for the first time in 2009 and I instantly fell in love with the town, my son was born here, I served as a guide until 2014, touring the entire department on foot and horseback, finding places, making friends and discovering many of the secrets of this land, my role is to receive them and host them as they pass through these lands, design and execute this house with comfort in mind and work on every detail so that the experience of those who visit us is unforgettable.

Service

The house has a small refrigerator with freezer, electric coffee maker, kettle, stove and kitchen items and dishes. We also have Jujuy wine for sale so that they can add to the experience of connecting with the local products. As we are passionate about gastronomic pleasures, we set up a station with varieties of herbs, coffee, tea, milk, etc., so that you can enjoy a hot drink on the gallery of the house and finally, you can enjoy the entire garden and the starry nights of San Francisco. The house has hot water 24 hours a day and electric heating in the room. Check in is from 1:00 p.m. onwards and check out at 10:00 a.m.
